Maybe you are a recent college grad who is navigating the loneliness of adulthood for the first time. Maybe you want to learn how to set better boundaries with your in-laws. Maybe you was to break toxic relationship patterns and learn how to identify healthy partners and friends. Maybe you want to find ways to accept your body exactly as it is. Maybe you want to become the parent you wish you had as a child. Or you just need to vent in the middle of a hectic week - there's space for that too. Therapy is a space for you to untangle your thoughts and gain insight into ways the past may be unknowingly influencing you so you can intentionally choose who you want to be. The only requirement of therapy is simply being human.
You can book an appointment by calling or texting 943-259-5875 or filling out the contact form in the "Get Started" portion of this website.
I am credentialed to provide virtual services in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, Missouri, Texas, New Jersey, and Florida at this time. Please note that you must be physically located in a safe, private location at the time of our session to comply with state licensure rules and regulations.
I work with a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I received training and supervision in couples and relational therapy in order to obtain my license. I am specialized in treating trauma, eating disorders, family of origin issues, substance use disorders, women's issues, pre- and post-partum concerns, family conflict, anxiety, depression, and co-dependency.
The goods news is therapy isn't like going to school - you can't make a bad grade and there isn't a "right" way to show up. I tell my clients that they hired me to do the work of navigating the conversation of our first session, which I hope provides relief and takes the pressure off of you so that you can show up as yourself. We will get to know each other, review your intake paperwork, and clarify your goals for therapy and how you will know if we are making progress. Feel free to ask me any questions you have as well during our intake.
Appointments are scheduled for the entire hour of your appointment, and last from 53-60 minutes. Please note if you are using insurance, you must attend your session for 53 minutes in order to use for insurance for payment.
A one hour 60 minute session is $125. I also accept a variety of insurance plans as well.
Yes, per the No Surprises Act (see below), you have the right to an estimate explaining how much your mental health care will cost. You will be provided a Good Faith Estimate when you sign up for services and any other time you request one, including before signing up for services. I recommend at least 6 sessions minimum, although the exact number you will need depends on your individual circumstances, needs, and goals for therapy.
“Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges” Under the No Surprises Act
Instructions Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises

If you would like me to verify that I am in-network with your specific plan, please fill out the contact form under the "Get Started" portion of this website.
A quote of benefits and/or authorization does not guarantee payment or verify eligibility. Payment of benefits are subject to all terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the member’s contract at time of service. Your health insurance company will only pay for services that it determines to be “reasonable and necessary.” Every effort will be made by this office to have all services authorized by your health insurance company. If your health insurance company determines that a particular service is not reasonable and necessary, or that a particular service is not covered under the plan, your insurer will deny payment for that service. I highly encourage all of my clients to contact their insurance company to confirm that my services are covered as well. Please note that you are responsible for paying your co-pay, any non-covered portions, and any deductible you have yet to cover. In addition, if your insurance company does not pay for services, you will be billed for any non-payment.
If I am out of network with your specific plan, I am happy to provide you with a super bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
My appointments are scheduled Monday through Thursday during normal business hours. I am not available for evening and weekend sessions at this time.
